Drywall Screws
Drywall screws, with their extremely sharp points and threads, are specifically designed to secure drywall to a substrate such as wood or metal studs. It’s these sharp points and threads that enable the super-fast insertion of the screws into drywall and its support structure.
Available in coarse thread which can be used to secure drywall to a wood substrate, such as brandering, where holding power is required, as well as fine thread which is ideal to fasten drywall to metal studs as they will easily cut into the metal and provide better holding power in the thin metal, as opposed to the coarse thread versions.
